I heard a rumor that registration is down due to prices to Philly. We got a pretty good deal out of L.A. $299. each round trip, non-stop flying Tuesday-Tuesday on U.S. Air Ways. Hope to see a good crowd there.

Thanks for the information, Bob Baker.  Hopefully travel costs will not sway BCCA members from attending a great CANvention in a great eastern seaboard city.

At the most recent BCCA Board Meeting, CANvention Planner Dave Gausepohl reported that registrations are looking fine, i.e., in-line with the typical July expectations.

People are increasingly slow to committ and register each year.  Keeping their options open I suppose, though what CAN trump a CANvention? As of today, am told we are catching up to

normal numbers.  Building momentiam.   It will snowball at the end.  Springfield had 200 walk-ins.

Just booked my flight for $289 round trip from Lex KY to Philly. Not sure if I could even drive for that price.

They alloted the rest of the tables yesterday.  There are usually 10 or 15 available first thing
Thursday morning, due to people backing out, not showing up, etc.  So it sounds like we are
almost at Springfield attendance numbers.  That's great.  And who knows how many walk-ins
show up Saturday. This will wind up being another fun, well attended, CANvention.
Just wait till CANvention 41 in Covington!  Imagine 1,000 people at a Beer Can Show. For 3 days.
