Can anyone suggest a book or expert on foam scraper values? Picked up a small collection at an auction and can't find anything about some of them. Have tried googling and have checked out all the big breweriana sites. Thanks

Seems like I remember an article in the BCCA magazine about foam scrappers within the last year.
I looked it up for you. The article was in the Feb-Mar 2009 issue. If you are not a member of the BCCA you really should join. The full color magazine is easily worth the dues. Throw in the canvention, the information available and the freindships made and you'll find the dues will be the best money you spent this year.

According to the BCCA site that issue is just about New York Scrapers.

This is what I would do. Get out your roster of BCCA members, look up the author of the article and email or call him. Most likely he specializes in NY faom scrappers but would know all about all foam scrappers. Example I collect beer cans from KY but I beleive I know alot about all beer can from all states. If I do not know an awnser I have a network of people in the club I can go to for answers. ( Thats the beauty of belonging to the BCCA) The author of the article will know others that collect scrappers and can point you to the best person for your question. Let me know if you are a member of the BCCA or not. It may be hard to get the authors email address if you are not and I'll help you get it. Just to give you an example of the resource the BCCA is, the article list as contributing authors of Ed Beckmann,Paul Brady, Chris Amideo,Bart Snyder and was written by Dave Launt, and George Arnold. I'm sure that is 6 guys that can answer any and all question about foam scrappers from any state.

Hello,
There is not a definitive book on foam scrapers; however, I might be able to help as I have been collecting scrapers for about ten years. Just join the BCCA and have been a member of the ABA for about 15 years. Dennis
